The engine runs the same four steps for every coin: claim fees, buy to 50/50, deposit into PumpSwap, burn the LP. Nothing goes to the launcher, and LP from engine deposits can’t be withdrawn.
At launch, the coin’s pump.fun fee sharing is set to send 100% of creator fees to the engine wallet, and the sharing admin is revoked in the same step. Every 15s the engine checks what’s accrued and claims it once there’s at least 0.002 SOL. A claim costs about 0.00001 SOL in network fees.
The engine keeps a per-coin balance of claimed SOL and bought tokens. Once a minute it buys the coin until both sides are worth about the same, because a pool deposit needs both sides in the pool’s ratio.
No buy if the result is under 0.002 SOL or the coin side is already bigger.
Before graduation, buys go through the bonding curve and the engine just holds the SOL and tokens. Big buys are split across passes so one buy doesn’t move the price much.
After the coin graduates, the engine deposits its coin and SOL into the coin’s canonical PumpSwap pool, the one pump.fun creates at graduation. A deposit waits until at least 0.02 SOL can go in, with a 2% tolerance on amounts so a moving price can’t make it overpay.
A deposit mints LP tokens, which are the claim on that share of the pool. The engine burns them in the same transaction that mints them, so it never holds them. That liquidity can’t be withdrawn by anyone, including the launcher and Airlock.
Short version on the home page. Here it is in full.
A PumpSwap pool prices the coin from its two reserves, coin and SOL. Every engine deposit adds both in the pool’s current ratio, so the price doesn’t move on deposit, but the reserves get bigger. A bigger pool means a trade of the same size moves the price less. On a constant-product pool, buying b SOL of coin from a pool holding P SOL fills on average b / P above the starting price.
None of these yet.
Constant-product example, fees ignored.
That cuts both ways. Selling costs less in price impact, so exits are cheaper. Pumping the price also takes more SOL, so moves in both directions get smaller for the same money.
The LP tokens a deposit mints are burned in the same transaction. Without LP tokens, that share of the pool can’t be withdrawn by the launcher, by Airlock, or by anyone else. PumpSwap keeps burned LP counted in the pool’s lp_supply, so the remaining LP holders don’t inherit the burned share either.
Creator fees are a cut of trading volume. More trading means more fees, which means more depth. Market cap on its own adds nothing. $AIRLOCK takes 10% of every coin’s fees, so its pool grows with the volume of the whole platform, not just its own.
| Cycle | 15s | How often every coin’s creator fees are checked and claimed. |
|---|---|---|
| Swap + deposit | 1 min | Each coin is bought to 50/50 and deposited, LP burned, at most once a minute. |
| Min claim | 0.002 SOL | Below this, fees wait on pump.fun until the next check. |
| Min buy | 0.002 SOL | Smallest buy worth the transaction fee. |
| Deposit threshold | 0.02 SOL | A deposit waits until this much SOL can go in. |
| Buy slippage | 3% | A buy that would fill worse is skipped. |
| Deposit tolerance | 2% | Max drift on deposit amounts from the quote. |
| Launcher share | 0% | The launcher gets none of the creator fees. |
| Split | 90 / 10 | 90% of each claim goes to the coin’s own pool, 10% to $AIRLOCK’s pool. $AIRLOCK keeps all of its own. |
| Network fee float | 0.1 SOL | If the engine wallet’s spare SOL drops below this, a claim keeps back enough to top it up. |
| Network fee reserve | 0.05 SOL | Swaps and deposits never take the engine wallet below this, so it can always pay for the next transaction. |
The fee lock. Each coin’s pump.fun fee-sharing config account lists the engine wallet at 100% with the admin revoked. Every coin page links its config on Solscan.
The memo. Every engine transaction carries a memo: airlock:v1:claim:<mint>, airlock:v1:buy:<mint> or airlock:v1:deposit+lpburn:<mint>. Filter the engine wallet’s history by it and you have the full record for a coin.
Deposit and burn together. Open any deposit in the tape on Solscan. The PumpSwap deposit and the LP burn are instructions in the same transaction.
The books. The audit script rebuilds a coin’s claimed, bought, deposited and burned totals from chain alone: npm run audit -- <mint>.
The one carve-out. The engine pays Solana network fees from its own SOL float. When that float drops below 0.1 SOL, a claim keeps back just enough to refill it. So network fees come out of creator fees. Everything else goes to the coin.
